Kidney Failure (KF) is a serious kidney disease characterized by a syndrome of decreased or severely impaired kidney function resulting in metabolic disorders. Kidney Failure can be categorized into Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) and Chronic Renal Failure (CRF). Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a clinical syndrome resulting from rapid decline in renal function over a short period of time due to a variety of etiologic factors, and Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) is a common endpoint of a variety of renal diseases that continue to progress to advanced stages. Renal failure can lead to a variety of complications, such as cardiovascular disease and neurological disease. We have established stable multiple models of subacute/chronic renal failure, which are suitable for preclinical studies of drugs for subacute/chronic renal failure and new drug evaluation.
