Heart failure (HF) is a disease caused by a malfunction of the heart's pumping function, resulting in the heart's inability to meet the basic metabolic needs of the entire body. Frequent triggers include myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, and myocarditis. In acute heart failure, or acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure, patients may experience acute pulmonary edema, shock, syncope or even cardiac arrest, which can be life-threatening. We have established a stable model of heart failure caused by different triggers, which is suitable for preclinical research and new drug evaluation of drugs for the treatment of heart failure.
